MyMicroGallery is pleased to announce “In Black”. From April 21st to May 12th, MyMicroGallery is pleased to announce “In Black,” a solo exhibition by Paolo Nicola Rossini. The exhibition, curated by Stefania Carrozzini, is part of the Photofestival circuit and bears witness to a long period of experimentation that, over time, has reached a level of visual synthesis where technique becomes a tool to give voice to the infinite expressive possibilities residing within the human soul.
More than a “journey to the end of the night,” In Black celebrates a beginning—a rebirth, a dawning dimension that can be glimpsed even when the darkness seems endless. Light springs from black; from the densest darkness, form begins to emerge. It is a cosmic black from which mysterious bodies are born. The space and the various subjects represented—airplanes, buildings, trees, landscapes, and almost imaginary aerial visions—surface like apparitions suspended in time, acting as sources of light in themselves.
This is a black with a magnetic corporeality; it acts like the head of a comet capable of emanating a constellation of forms and images, serving as a visual bridge between the material and the immaterial. Paolo Nicola Rossini’s photographs engage with architectural space, the specificity of places, and nature, while always keeping the themes of boundaries, absence, and the “elsewhere” at the center of his work.
Catalogue available in the Gallery.
